When I first heard the single “depressed in heaven” the visual immediately presented itself to me; and when McCall showed me her mood board, I knew we had a fun and special project on our hands. We were all on the same page with this sad angel crying tears of glitter vibe. And from there the creative around the song grew.

☆ Music Video ☆
After a few meetings and delivering a custom pitch deck that included visual inspiration and plans for a music video, lyric video, and a media day shoot - I gathered my friends at Corner Media Entertainment to help me execute.
I wanted Kenneth Herron to direct the music video as I knew he would have a killer storyline that fit their pop-goth-inspired aesthetic. The creative guidelines were that McCall had to be in an angel costume, have a super saturated color palette, and have a surreal feel to it - and for the music video narrative, we would like to reference a thriller/horror film.
Sure enough, Kenny came up with the concept of McCall wondering around a house party in an angel costume with Mike acting unsure of if what he is seeing is real or not mixing references to the 1999 psychological thriller film “The Sixth Sense” and the hit HBO show “Euphoria.”
